I — What's inside

One quiet app. A child's world, and a parent's lens.

Eduksha is a single download with two thoughtfully separate experiences — paired by a single PIN. Here's what each side gets, every day.

01

Today's Learning

A focused daily queue — never overwhelming, always relevant. Two or three tasks the child works through, then closes the app. A ritual, not a grind.

02

AI practice quizzes

Curated MCQs for every NCERT lesson, plus AI-generated practice from your child's own uploaded notes. Score is tracked across attempts so progress is visible — to both of you.

03

Written-answer feedback

Long-answer questions get gentle, model-evaluated feedback so kids learn how to structure a response — not just bubble in the right letter.

04

Streaks the family rallies around

One streak per child. Parents see milestones, friends see streaks — but never as guilt.

05

Parent tasks & review

Assign chapters or custom challenges. Kids submit work. Parents accept, ask for a redo, or leave a note — all inside the app.

06

The Eduksha Times

A kid-safe daily newspaper of India-only motivational stories, refreshed every 24 hours. Folds open like a real paper.

II — Every subject

Built for every subject your child learns at school.

From multiplication to mythology, every NCERT and CBSE subject your child takes — covered with curated lessons, AI quizzes, and gentle written-answer feedback.

III — For both sides

So the kid stays curious — and the parent stays in the loop.

For your child

A daily 15 minutes that feels like play, not homework.

Kids open Eduksha to a fresh newspaper, a streak waiting to be kept alive, and one or two practice items their parent set for them. No social feed. No notifications begging for attention. Just a calm, focused rhythm.

  • A new Eduksha Times edition every morning
  • Today's Learning queue that's never overwhelming
  • Mark anything "Need Revision" with one tap
  • Friend connections only with parent-shared invites
For you, the parent

The visibility you wished a school WhatsApp group gave you.

One glance shows you what your child learned today, where they're stuck, and what's pending your review. Approve homework with a tap. Set a small custom challenge for the weekend. Get notified — but only when it actually matters.

  • Daily summary of what your child practiced
  • One-tap approve / ask-redo on submissions
  • Per-subject accuracy and streak history
  • Multiple children supported on one parent account
IV — Process

Four steps. Then it's just a habit.

i

Parent signs up

Quick OTP login on the parent's phone. No social-media accounts required.

ii

Add the child

Name, class, board. Generate a 4-digit PIN your child uses on their device.

iii

Child does the work

Lessons, quizzes, homework, daily newspaper — all in the kid-friendly tab.

iv

Parent reviews

Push notifications when there's something to approve. One tap keeps the streak alive.

Kid-safe by default

We took shortcuts on chrome. Never on safety.

Eduksha is built for children aged 8–13, with the stricter end of that range in mind. Here's the floor we hold ourselves to.

  • No advertising network. No tracking pixels. No social login.
  • News is generated under a strict prompt: only motivational, educational, India-focused. Anything political, violent, or scary is filtered out before it reaches the device.
  • Children can't escalate to parent mode without the parent PIN.
  • Photos and answers are encrypted in transit and stored on Google Cloud (Firestore + Cloud Storage).
  • Parents can request full deletion of their family's data at any time. Here's how.
V — Frequently asked

Questions parents ask before downloading.

Is Eduksha really free?

Yes — the core experience (curated lessons, daily newspaper, AI quizzes, parent review, streaks) is free during the launch phase. We may introduce optional paid features later, but the current experience will always be available without payment.

What age group is Eduksha for?

Children aged 8–13, with content currently aligned to NCERT & CBSE classes 6 to 8. We're expanding the curriculum coverage steadily — drop us an email if you'd like an earlier or later class added next.

Do my child's homework photos leave the device?

Photos are uploaded to Google Cloud Storage so they show up in the Revisit-Past-Topics archive across devices. They are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are not shared with anyone outside the family group, and are never used for advertising. Full breakdown is in our Privacy Policy.

How do you keep the AI content kid-safe?

Every Gemini prompt — for the daily newspaper, quizzes, and written-answer feedback — runs through a strict child-safety filter that excludes politics, religion, violence, and distressing themes. We post-process outputs and audit them. If you ever see something off, mail safety@eduksha.in — we investigate within 72 hours.

Can I use Eduksha for more than one child?

Absolutely. One parent account can hold multiple child profiles. Each child gets their own streak, progress, friends, and review queue — and you can switch between them from the parent dashboard.

Can a child use the same phone as the parent?

Yes. The parent stays signed in, and switching to the child experience requires the child's 4-digit PIN. Switching back to the parent view also requires re-authentication.

What if I want to delete everything?

You can delete your account from the in-app Profile tab, or by emailing privacy@eduksha.in. All photos, profiles, quiz attempts, and friend records are removed within 30 days. Backup snapshots purge within 90 days. See Delete account for the exact steps.
